Brief background: My diagnosis is major depressive disorder with paranoid features. I also have anxiety issues. I take 60mg Prozac daily, 2mg Trilafon twice daily, Xanax as needed for short term anxiety and Klonopin as needed for sleep. I don't necessarily have to take the benzos every day....

Paliperidone is new, i like it but need more practice with dosing and onset of action and time till effect, it's use in the acute setting for example takes skill. I hope they make an immediate release form -It could replace haloperidol as we know it.
