Buddy Holly hit. Performed live here in July 2008 on Wolfe Island on the 5th of July. Released May 27, 1957. Originally recorded in Nashville in July 1956 (52 years ago. The only 2 live versions are from the Ed Sullivan show (1957) and a poorly recorded version from March 1958 (one of three tunes Holly and the Crickets did at The London Palladium).
