We decided to get the heck out of the house today, so we drove up north of our home about two hours to see some nice country.Along the way, we passed through the towns of Standish, Omer, Augre, East Tawas, Tawas and finally Oscoda.I have family buried in one of the towns, so we stopped by that cemetary. Not fun really, but it had to be done I guess.A beautiful sunny summer day in the Great Lakes State! Maybe I'll make this same journey in January, and show how Michigan has many moods...

If you want to try Windows Movie Maker, do this: make video of the length you choose, and put it on your machine, then just play with the software. Trial and error, or hands-on is the best way to figure out this stuff. And, I'm no master of it for sure!!I have almost 10 gig of tunes on my drive, so finding tunes of the right length and type are not always difficult...Was 85 today, rain and 85 tomorrow...!!

Aug 30, 2008 - That's a great place to live. I remember the area from Alpena to Alabaster, as a kid. Driving the 23 often, going up to our grandparents and aunt/uncle on Lake Vanetten. Snowmobiling, swimming and sledding up there. Ahhh, memories that are priceless!
