Jan 8, 2009 - This video brought tears to my eyes. I am no longer living at Birds of Paradise but back at my property where the only bird I have is AVIS. I'd love to see Ted's parrots able to enjoy a large aviary where they could do more than sit in a cage all day. That's why I played with all the manageable birds. There were so many times I felt such an intense sadness because of the cages that I'd cry. When I go to visit, Frostie calls out my name at the top of his lungs the moment he spots my car: "KARYA!"

Jan 8, 2009 - PS: My name is Karla but "KARYA! KARYA! KARYA!" is music to my ears since the only words 20-year-old Frostie says are: "Hi!", "Huh!", "Frostie", "Frost Plug" and "KARYA!". I'm going to make some videos of Frostie and Avis dancing on the piano that I bought (which is still down at Ted's) now that I got my teethe fixed!
