This is a new series I'm starting up entitled "Final Cut Express Tips and Tricks" where I will show you some useful tips from basic elements of Final Cut to more advanced techniques. This first tip is creating a Scratch Disk which everyone with Final Cut should use to save that precious room on your internal Harddrive. **YOU WILL NEED AN EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE FOR THIS** I use the Lacie 320GB External HD. Thanks to MacbookJoe for giving me this great tip so all credit goes to himhttp://www.youtube.com/user/MacBookJoeCheck his Channel Out!

May 4, 2008 - Go buy a new HD and smash the Lacie with a hammer. do this now, or you will regret it.

May 4, 2008 - why?
ChiefGordonCole Says:
May 4, 2008 - I heard all the horror stories about lacie, but didn't believe anyone. I continued to use mine, until two days ago when it just died. And on top of that I was going to buy another external in a few days for backup. So much for that idea, now I got to import an infinity of footage all over again. thanks Lacie!!
