Richmond speaks about the Feed Us More Than Peanuts Campaign, after the second day of peanut and letter deliveries. This is a student movement in California, fighting for a long term, stable solution to funding public education, and to prevent a fluctuating budget from year to year based on if our economy is doing well or not. Students need to speak out, because students are the ones directly affected by education. Education provides the basic infrastructure of a Democratic Society - and to preserve the legacy of America, we need to invest in the next generation's education.

Aug 8, 2008 - Had, did, helped. Why do you keep speaking in the past tense? You sound as if we're done. We shouldn't finish this untill we actually have a stable education budget.
