my two cents ... I suffer from mental illness and a SEVERE anger problem. I've found that when I have a positive outlet for my agression through training and fighting in MMA events, I can better deal with day to day life. However, when I don't have those things, I find myself losing control very easily, or going out and looking for streetfights. I feel Crafty Dog has very good points, and if you're like me, or even if you'r not, you should hear what he has to say. Check out dogbrothers.com

Yakzur Says:

Jun 16, 2008 - While the Lorenzian view of aggression is often found to be untrue scientifically, it is clearly seen that aggression is a part of us. It is often a reflection of frustration, but aggression in and of itself is a survival function. Overly timid creatures do not survive, whereas animals that protect themselves (aggressive [social] creatures) procreate and survive.
