Some 100,000 Poles were deported to Majdanek, and tens of thousands of them died there. An estimated 20,000 Poles died at Sachsenhausen, 20,000 at Gross-Rosen, 30,000 at Mauthausen, 17,000 at Neuengamme, 10,000 at Dachau, and 17,000 at Ravensbrueck. In addition, victims in the tens of thousands were executed or died in the thousands of other camps--including special children's camps such as Lodz and its subcamp, Dzierzazn--and in prisons and other places of detention within and outside German-occupied Poland 1939-1945.

But:1.There wasn`t Polish Germany aliance in 1939.2.On Tesin area lived Poles mostly.3.This land was taken from Poland by Czechoslovakia in 1921 when Poland was attacked by Soviet Union. In Polish -bolsheviks war Czechoslovakia stoped french weapon for Poland on border. That was revange.. but It was mistake in my opinion. We should fight together Czechoslovakia and Poland against totalitarian nazis and commies.

West Germany had a far head start in trades, exports and exchanges.Where Poland was still stifeld by the Communism. Poland's freedom is new and still developing channels that will allow to expand Poland's economy. Look at Sikorsky a American Helicopter Manufacturer joined forces in Mielec and opened up new division fabricating aircrafts...and there are others. Poland will prosper in time.

Poles were labeled as indigenous race,and Hitler indeed had a plan for Poland to be completely removed from the map. Which over 2.5 mil.non-jewish poles perished!As vistims of execution,human experimentation,starvation & diseases In 1939,3500 adults and children from Psych.Hosp.were gased w/carbon-monoxide and this was their first successful test of the mass murder!And later perfected with cyline in death camps.And now Poland is in question?? On the flip side of the coin,German's feared the Russian Front, they were dying like flies. The bitter cold of Russia's climate was unbearable for them.
