Nov 19, 2008 - This logic is kind of flawed. Considering some people make movies to express an idea or ideal to others and some people make movies to bring in a profit. Those that make movies for profit typically DO care what the audience thinks about their movie. Good reviews brings in more viewers which means more profit, bad reviews can sometimes limit the number of people who go to see the movie hurting profit.

The preview makes it look rlly, dramitic, action, serious. i thot spike lee wood make it sad and dramatic to make the afircan americans look good as they fought. instead, it was a big dispaointment. they put funny cartoony backround, they make the blacks hit on girls like modern days, omg spike u lied to me :(

Nov 19, 2008 - It's funny how every white person who saw this movie, even in the very theatre which I was in, complained about how stupid this movie was. Two words for them : WHITE GUILT. Spike lee did an excellent job exposing the savagery of whites during WWII and the ugliness of racism in America. In fact, I feel like he didn't do enough. He could have included more civilian massacre scenes and interracial sex scenes because Italian women loved the Buffalo Soliders.

Nov 19, 2008 - It looks interesting in many ways. but i don't like the fact i can tell it was made in the fashion that every ther movie that is out there is made: it doesn't look like a movie that will make people think, or have an impact on them, like movies 'back in the day' did. Movies with significance and symbolism and weren't just an excuse to make more money.
