Metallica play Wembley Stadium as part of their 2007 Sick of the Studio tour.*** If you enjoy this video please check out the videos of my band on my profile/channel. Add us on Myspaz: http://www.myspace.com/puritanslain Thanks! ***Things I WONT apologise for in any way:- Bad sound quality (my small compact couldn't handle the bass!)- Shaky-cam (I'm not one of those emotionless people that can stand still at normal gigs, let alone a METALLICA gig)- Not capping your fave song / cutting songs short (I was there to ENJOY myself, not take video for your pleasure!)You'll notice that the start of the video is taken from way back in the stadium. Wembley have installed a semicircle barrier around the front of the stage that is actually quite large. Wristbands for this pit area are given out on what seems to be a first-come first-served basis. There's no way to buy a more expensive ticket to get in there. This annoyed the hell out of me and even being at the front of the rest of the crowd meant that you were actually quite far away from the stage. Three songs into 'tallicas set, one of the stadium crew came over to us whilst we were sitting on some railings and asked "if I give you these, will you please get off my furniture?!". They just happened to be wristbands to the pit area, and that dude made our night. Not only was I at the front of a Metallica gig, I was also free to move about and get some decent video. Hooo-rah indeed.Setlist - *=Full song capped +=Part of song capped01. Creeping Death *02. For Whom The Bell Tolls03. Sad But True04. Disposable Heroes +05. Nov 19, 2008 - Nice one, made me chuckle that lol..Bet the gig was unbelievable. I last saw Metallica in 1999 on the Big Day Out fest at Milton Keynes Bowl...and before that at Manchester MEN Arena, on the Load tour where they did the mad stunt/explosion thing on the "Cunning Stunts" video...that was an awesome memorable gig. I honestly hope they will do a FULL UK tour again though, and not just London one offs as i'm up north & it's just too damn far to travel for one show, looked awesome though. Cheers! /m/

Nov 19, 2008 - We turned up at 1.30 and still made the fourth row of the golden circle. Did anybody else notice how much Lars was struggling with his double bass drum in the bridge section of One?

alzico Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I was at this gig, bloody awesome. I was too busy rocking out at the time but looking at this I can hear that Lars was struggling with the sextuplets on the bass drum, it sounds more like 5 and is pretty uneven...jeez the amount of times he's played this song you'd thought he'd have it down. Otherwise I can't fault anything about this gig, best of all time.

Auxois Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - yes, he played them pretty tight to start off with but it got a bit worse every time, but then he couldnt play them at all at download so i guess thats better, he doesnt really practise his double bass any more

SlashedRoses11 Says:
