Nov 19, 2008 - As much as i would luv for Neyo to be of Igbo origin..he isn't..his name Chimere isnt of Naija descent, it's actually d name of one foreign perf that his mother likes.. He said it at one of his interviews and i googled it and found dat there is a perfume called 'Chimere'They don't even pronounce it like Chi-me-re meaning God has done something in Igbo..It's pronounced Sha-meer or somethn like that..Nna eh, i was here hopn dat one day he'll come out n say he's Naija..o well lol :D Naija Kwenu!
