CSX Q-741 is seen climbing the hill WB out of Baltimore with crapper ES44DC 5217 leading making the crossover from 3 Track over to 1 Track. Surprising to see 5217 handling the train without stalling or shutting down like many GEVOs are known to do.

Nov 19, 2008 - There's also another thing most CSX engines are heavier than the other models being used on other railroads. Since they are heavier than normal this increases tractive effort. A reason why I see two of these engines here pulling 100-130 loaded coal cars with no problems in Florida.By the way Train9632W have you ever railfanned on the Long Island Railroad before?
