Commonly called the Aaronic Blessing, the Jews have different names for it: 1) Bircas Kohanim (Priestly Blessing); 2) Nesias Kapayim; literally, raising the hands; and, 3) Aliyah LaDuchan; means ascending to the platform.Daniel Schnaider, Messianic Jewish teacher from Argentina, recited the blessing during Kol Nidre (Aramaic: כל נדרי) in 2008 at the beginning of the evening service on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
