It really gets into the character's psyche and just how time, and circumstance, can either heal or destroy someone.Yuna isn't the same girl she was when Tidus disappeared, not the same girl he fell in love with-she's changed too much and he doesn't know who she is anymore. He finds enough courage to confront his past lover, and ends their relationship. A devastated Yuna tries to cope only to discover that her cousin, Rikku, is now Tidus' girlfriend. Questions tantalize her mind over and over on how he could get over her so fast and how Rikku could betray her in such a manner.After all, wasn't she the one encouraging her to look for him for those two years? Pushing her along? Or is there something more behind Rikku's cold, unfeeling exterior and actions, other than what meets the naked eye?Enter Gippal. He feels disgusted and angry over the whole scenario-but not because of his past feelings for Rikku. He doesn't exactly know why, but something is drawing him to the broken Ex-Summoner. Longing to help her, he tries to find out exactly what's going on and is pulled to slowly put the shards of Yuna back together. But...is he enough?
